Firmware Upgrade:
It has recently been identified that a lot of the previous faults that we have faced on Polycom devices have been caused by an outdated server. Inclarity have rectified a lot of these issues by provisioning a new server which allows the download of a more up-to-date version of firmware. To move your handset to the new server, please click here

 

Error Messages:

Waiting for network to initialize: The handset is not able to pick up an internal IP address

Initial Diagnostics:

Check the Ethernet cable is securely seated in the LAN port at the back of the handset.
Check the other end of the cable to ensure it is securely seated in the patch panel and/or switch/router port.

Unable to make or receive calls: The handset shows no error on screen but calls cannot be made, and inbound calls go to voicemail.

Initial Diagnostics:

Check the Ethernet cable is securely seated in the LAN port at the back of the handset. 
Check the other end of the cable to ensure it is securely seated in the patch panel and/or switch/router port.
If the router is unsupported by Inclarity, please clear out all NAT translations associated with this handset and delete the DHCP binding
Following these checks, the handset will need to be rebooted

This is warning you that the default password is in use on the handset. Inclarity do use this default password when using remote diagnostics so we leave this as default. To clear the icon, press the Home Button, Settings, Option 4, Option 4, Option 5 and press the 'Clear Icon' softkey
